Training can be completed in one or multiple sittings
Computer, tablet, or smartphone with access to the internet*
About the Training
The Child Sexual Abuse Awareness online training informs individuals who work with children about the prevalence of child sexual abuse in Canada and outlines ways to help spot and address concerning behaviour.
This online training addresses the following:
- the definition of child sexual abuse
- the grooming process
- recognizing and handling disclosures of child sexual abuse
- the impact of child sexual abuse
- reporting concerns
Are you an administrator, employee or volunteer of a child-serving organization? We recommend you select the Commit to Kids online training, which is similar to this training but also covers the policies and procedures and codes of conduct that are necessary for child-serving organizations to have in place to minimize the risk of child sexual abuse occurring within their organizations.
Are you also taking the Kids in the Know online training or the Teatree Tells online training? This training is included in the purchase of both these trainings.
