The Canadian Centre for Child Protection (C3P) is a national charity dedicated to the personal safety and protection of children. Our goal is to reduce the sexual abuse and exploitation of children, to assist in the location of missing children, and to prevent child victimization.

C3P operates Cybertip.ca — Canada’s tipline for reporting child sexual abuse and exploitation on the internet — as well as other prevention and intervention programs and initiatives.

About This Position

Looking for a career where you can make a real difference? The Canadian Centre for Child Protection (C3P) is a national charity dedicated to improving the personal safety of all children. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and detail‑oriented individual to join our team as a Communications Coordinator.

The Communications Coordinator is responsible for creating engaging content across multiple platforms including web, newsletters, and social media to increase public awareness of C3P’s mission and programs. The role assists with internal communications, public awareness campaigns, and reports.

Responsibilities include writing and editing internal and external resources, creating social content, and working on special projects as assigned.

Requirements Include:

  • University degree or college diploma in a relevant field
  • Experience working with various stakeholders, media, and/or the public
  • Proven ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of C3P’s identity, mission and goals
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and creative, with a strong commitment
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
  • Minimal on-call availability
