About This Position

The Canadian Centre for Child Protection is a charitable organization dedicated to the personal safety of all children. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the full-time position of Executive Assistant.

The Executive Assistant is responsible for managing the day-to-day operational and administrative activities of the Executive Director. This includes communicating with internal and external stakeholders, coordinating government and partner relations, organizing the Executive Director’s travel, making necessary arrangements for meetings, including preparing documents, and sharing in general office duties, such as maintaining building space cleanliness and providing hospitality.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Executive Assistant will assist with special projects, research, and strategic initiatives. They will develop communications, prepare proposals, and organize workshops and seminars. The role also involves summarizing and synthesizing reports, conducting research for senior management, and supporting public awareness initiatives. The Executive Assistant will proactively manage project timelines, coordinate confidential communications, and ensure seamless operations in a fast-paced environment.

This position requires a proactive, highly organized and detail-oriented individual who excels in a fast-paced environment and maintains the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Requirements Include:

  • University degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working in the social services field is considered an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in French is desirable.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and schedules.
