For youth who have been targeted by the non-consensual distribution for intimate images, or experienced luring, sextortion, or other forms of online sexual violence, the NeedHelpNow.ca support team can:
- Help with next steps;
- Send notices to assist with having offending accounts suspended and/or removed;
- Send notices to platforms through Project Arachnid;
- Help connect you to additional services like counselling, therapy, peer support, victim services that are the right fit, and available in your area.
How does it support child safety?
NeedHelpNow.ca helps youth gain back control over their image/video through practical steps, yet more importantly, it’s a resource that lets them know they are not alone.
