Statement: Canadian Centre for Child Protection supports the objectives of Bill C-463

For Immediate Release

The Canadian Centre for Child Protection supports the objectives of Bill C-463, which will not only enhance the available options to protect children age 16 and 17 from being sexually victimized, but will also provide much-needed clarity to victims who wish to have their publication bans lifted. It is incumbent upon all of us to find ways to better protect and support victims of sexual violence.
